I have never seen a movie that I semply can’t stop watching it makes feel this sad but also rejoiceing feeling at the same time Lifted is ranked in top ten movies that I have seen and belive me I have seen hundreds of movies but Lifted made tears lift out of eye balls into my heart forever. The question I asked why wasn’t this movie in theaters it is so much better then some movies put in theaters.

Would you know if there will be a Green Street 3?
There has been a lot of talk about a third movie called “Green Street 3: Return Of The Major”.
I was just wondering, because you directed the first and second movie that you might know if there will be a third?

Hi lexi

I just listened to the pwz podcast with Patton oswalt and had to straightaway track down a way to tell you : please don’t be embarrassed or pained about the film! I’m a big fan of the old school over-the-top movies and I rank pwz as one of the best. It’s gleeful and god damn it satisfying, like robocop, total recall, roadhouse et al. I saw it on DVD and thought ‘how did this slip under the radar? Why isn’t this praised as an awesome comic book movie?’ As Patton says it looks like it’ll thankfully become a cult classic. I hope so. I hate the thought you might have been turned off genre film-making and also that you’re not the studios’ go-to director for big action fare. I think you knocked your Hollywood audition out the park. Curse the marketing klutzes I guess.

Happen to run across your movie “Lifted” today on netflix. It was great! Loved the message and loved the music.
Please make more inspiring movies like this. Would love to buy a sound track if it ever becomes available….

I just watched Lifted, I am happy to say this is one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve seen in a while. The movie was good from start to finish. Really makes you realize that a story like this doesn’t have to have anymore than what you did. Simple and real, you did a great job. Thanks for the job you did.

Lexi,

I was just coaxed by my wife and son to watch “Lifted”. I am so glad I did. I’m not a cyring man, I’m actually more like an alpa male, but your movie had a delayed impact on my heart.

When I was seven years old, I lost both my parents in an auto accident. After watching Lifted, all I could think about was all the kids that have lost a parent and how your movie might encourage them to live on without their physical presence. I thank you so much for making this movie. I understand the patriotic intent of the movie and applaud you for it, but you should know that as a 38yr old father and husband, it caused me to think about how big of a heart you must have and I deeply appreciate you for opening it up for us. I pray that you do it again. I’m a fan. God Bless!

I am a United States Marine and would just like to say well done on this film. It gives people who are not in the military and have no affiliation with the military whatsoever a good view of the hurt and the pain that families endure by the loss of a fallen hero. The end of the movie was the best in my eyes. It lets you know that although they may be gone physically, doesn’t mean that they are not still with us spiritually. An awesome story with awesome actors. Mrs. Alexander, thank you on behalf of myself and I think I can speak for military families across the world.
