LIFTED LIVES ON
Each movie has a different kind of life span. As the filmmaker I am usually involved much longer than most members of the cast & crew, from pre-production to principal photography through post-production and the marketing campaign until finally the theatrical release.
On LIFTED it has been even longer, since I have also written the screenplay based on an original idea that popped up in my mind one day (mail from the creative conscious as I like to call it).
Right now it’s quiet around LIFTED, but that’s only the calm before the storm because in February 2011 we’ll be storming into Unity churches across the nation before we open in selected theaters.
So come the newyear I will be tweeting, blogging and screaming from the roofs about LIFTED, until then I’ll just post a few updates and events like:
Our screening at the Feel good film festival in Hollywood were we received so much love! Here is a pic of our stars Nicki Aycox and Dash Mihok arriving:

Uriah Shelton stopped by at the Ride to recovery event to show his support and appreciation for our veterans. Here is a pic with Uriah and R2R president John Wordin:

Finally, the press release about our theatrical release in Variety:
